Shimagokoro SETODA (島ごころセトダ)

Shimagokoro SETODA is a sweets café on Ikuchijima Island. In the calm atmosphere of the store, baked goods such as lemon cake and navel orange cake with a delicious financier-like texture are lined up, all of which can be bought to go or enjoyed with coffee in the café space attached to the store. Shimagokoro SETODA’s flagship store also sells sweets exclusive to the Setoda location, so be sure to check it out.

There are also stores in Onomichi Station and Hiroshima Station.

The charm of Shimagokoro SETODA is the refreshing baked sweets that use a lot of citrus fruits such as lemons, which are well known as a specialty of Ikuchijima. The most popular item, the lemon cake, is made by kneading lemon jam made from the rind of Setouchi lemons, which is safe to eat, into the batter, giving the cake not only the sour taste of lemon but also the rich aroma of lemon. In addition, free coffee service is available in the café space attached to the store.
