Owl de Base Owl Café (オウルドベース フクロウカフェ)

The Owl de Base Owl Cafe is located a 30-second walk from the Hiroshima PARCO shopping center. More than 30 different bird species, from owls to falcons and even hawks can be seen in the store. You can also interact with rare exotic animals such as hedgehogs, meerkats, chinchillas, grey parrots, and Richardson’s ground squirrels. You can even purchase original store memorabilia with decorative owls and small animal motifs as souvenirs.

The Owl de Base Owl Cafe allows you to not only interact with the owls and other birds but also feed them (for an additional fee). The location also breeds owls and exotic animals, and if you’re lucky, you can even see their newborn chicks. The store sells original caretaking equipment for those who own owls, hawks, falcons, and other exotic birds, making it an excellent place for all enthusiasts alike.
