Novelty Souvenirs
Where can I find unique Hiroshima souvenirs? We’ve wandered into novelty souvenir shops across Hiroshima and curated the most interesting ones here. Laugh at plush hats in the shape of Miyajima deer heads. Track down socks with the Grand Tori Gate on them. Find Hiroshima Carp themed apparel and accessories. Wonder at vending machines selling cans of Hiroshima’s air or plush oyster charms. We’ve seen it all. Our souvenir guide is your ticket to distinctly Hiroshima gifts.

Oda Stamp Factory (小田印房)

Oda Inbo (Oda stamp factory) is a hanko (personal seal) shop located about a 10-minute walk from JR Onomichi Station. The store has been around for a long time and has a variety of hanko carved out of various materials. At the store, you can have not only a general hanko with your family name engraved, but also an original hanko with a silhouette of a cat engraved next to your family name. A stamp with a silhouette of a cat can only be made in Onomichi, a city known for its cats. If you live far away, you can have your stamp shipped to you.

At Oda Inbo, you can have a one-of-a-kind stamp with a silhouette of a cat on it made. No matter which color you choose, you will receive a special case and a red inkpad with red ink. If you are visiting the store from a distance and cannot wait for your stamp to be ready, you can have it mailed to you.
