Lifestyle Store “en” is a general store in Higashihiroshima. It sells kitchen goods such as tableware and colanders, as well as food products such as honey and oranges in syrup. Most of the daily goods sold at “en” are made of natural materials that have been loved in Japan for a long time.

Moment of Joy

At “en,” you will find a variety of products that the owner has personally purchased by traveling all over Japan. One of the most popular products is “hechima-tawashi,” a dishwashing sponge made of loofah. In its dry state, loofah is hard and stiff, but when soaked in water, it becomes soft and can be used to remove dirt and grime from dishes. The store also sells bamboo baskets, chopsticks, and many other items that give you a sense of Japanese style.
