Using the Miyajima Ropeway, you can make your way up to the top of Mt. Misen. The ropeway is very popular among tourists because it offers a spectacular view of Miyajima and the Seto Inland Sea from above that cannot be seen when climbing the mountain. It is possible to buy a ticket on the spot when you board the bus, however during seasons when the number of tourists are particularly high, such as October, November, and New Year’s holidays, it is recommended to make a reservation, which can be done up to three months in advance.
