Soba-ba Shirakawa (蕎場しらかわ)

In the Fukuromachi neighborhood in the heart of Hiroshima lies Soba-ba Shirakawa, a specialty restaurant where one can partake in traditional Japanese soba (buckwheat noodles). They offer over 20 types of soba, including hot soba, cold soba, and dipping soba. In addition, they have a wide selection of dishes besides soba, including tempura donburi (rice bowls) and platters.

Those who visit Soba-ba Shirakawa can enjoy fragrant soba meals made with domestically produced buckwheat flour. From simple kake-soba, where one savors only soba and broth, to tsuke-soba, wherein one dips cold soba into a hot dipping sauce with various ingredients, customers can enjoy a variety of soba dishes to suit their preferences.
