HAKKO Park (ハッコウパーク)
HAKKO Park is a hands-on fermentation-themed tourist facility on Innoshima, the second island from Onomichi on the Shimanami Kaido. The grounds, covered with a large lawn, are divided into three areas: HAKKO Gate, HAKKO Garden, and Manda Fermentation Factory. At the HAKKO Gate, you can visit the café and souvenir shop, and at the HAKKO Garden, you can interact with nature.
Moment of Joy
At the HAKKO Park, you can learn about the history of Manda Zyme, a fermented food product born in Hiroshima, the secrets behind its delicious taste, and the natural power of fermentation and enzymes. The HAKKO Garden, surrounded by greenery and the sea, is one of the most popular attractions in HAKKO Park. In the garden with a view of the sea, vegetables, fruits, and goats grown with Manda Enzyme for plants and water are raised and cultivated, and visitors can freely watch them. There is also an athletic field for children.
