Hattendo Cafelie (八天堂カフェリエ)

Hattendo Cafelie is a bakery in Mihara City famous for its famous cream buns, which are filled with cream and have a thin crust. At Hattendo Cafelie, you can try your hand at making your very own cream buns among other baked goodies, and you can also eat cream buns from the café menu at the restaurant. There is even a factory tour where you can learn more about the actual process of making cream buns.

At the Hattendo Cafelie workshop, you can experience almost the entire process of making cream buns. The bread dough is formed into the desired shape, decorated with icing, baked on the spot, and then filled with special cream. The finished cream buns can be taken home in an original wrapper designed by you. At the café adjacent to the factory, you can also enjoy the delicious café menu, including the popular “Cream Pancake” with its fluffy texture.
