Megumi no Oka Kamagari Park (恵みの丘蒲刈)
The Megumi no Oka Kamagari Park is an active tourist location located along the coast of Kure City. There are three facilities in the park: the Megumi no Oka Farm, the Megumi no Oka Herb Workshop, and the Megumi no Oka Restaurant, each offering a different experience. There are also many sightseeing spots near the facilities, such as the beautiful Civic Beach (Kenmin-no-hama). Reservations are required to use the facilities and can be made from the first day of the month prior to the desired date of use.
Moment of Joy
At Megumi no Oka Kamagari Park, there are three facilities where you can have a variety of different experiences. At the Megumi no Oka Farm, you can pick citrus fruits (mandarin oranges from October to December, dekopon from March), strawberries (January to early May), and blueberries (June to August). The fruits that can be harvested vary depending on the season, so you can enjoy them no matter what time of year you visit. You can also try your hand at making organic soap using herbs at the Megumi no Oka Herb Studio and eat excellent food made from local ingredients at the Megumi no Oka Restaurant.
