Hiroshima River Cruise (ひろしまリバークルーズ)

The “Hiroshima River Cruise” is a cruise ship that takes passengers around the rivers of Hiroshima. There are three courses: a 25-minute course that cruises from the Motoyasu River to the Honkawa River, a 30-minute course that goes from Peace Park to Hiroshima Station, and a 60-minute course that circles Motoyasu River and Honkawa River. Also popular is the Sunset Cruise (reservation required), which departs at 17:00 and cruises around Hiroshima in the evening.

The Hiroshima River Cruise is a great way to see Hiroshima from a perspective that cannot be seen from the ground. Of course, you can see famous tourist spots such as the Atomic Bomb Dome and Hiroshima Castle, and in spring, the cherry blossom trees along the river turn bright pink and attract many people. Also, depending on the course, you can enjoy cruising on both the river and the sea. This makes the most out of Hiroshima’s unique position surrounded by rivers and the Seto Inland Sea.
