Just five minutes of crossing the skybridge coming out of JR Kure Station takes visitors to YouMe Town Kure, which is a large shopping mall that prides itself on its prominent scale and structure. Because it is connected to tourist attractions such as the Yamato Museum and the JMSDF (Iron Whale) Museum, not just locals, but tourists to Kure from outside the city, prefecture, or country pass through this mall in large numbers.
