Takehara KAKIGORI DIARY Lasts Until Halloween!

Kakigori is the Japanese name for shaved ice, which can resemble a sundae with the numerous possible toppings. The city of Takehara has been holding an event showcasing local establishments’ kakigori, which lasts from July 25th to October 31st. If you have not yet had your chance to try kakigori, no worries! Nine establishments in the Historical Preservation District and one restaurant at Michi no Eki Takehara have got you covered.
