Shokei no Michi 2025 Set for October 25-26th!

Shokei no Michi returns again this 25-26th October to captivate the hearts of visitors from all over! The main spectacle at the Historical Preservation District may occur at night with a spellbinding wonderland of glowing bamboo, but that shouldn’t stop visitors from wandering the nostalgic streets during the day to see how preparations go. Takehara locals manufacture lanterns from bamboo and candles, create other artistic props for the festival, and write their wishes on bamboo lanterns that can be read by everyone who visits. The venue itself is also a popular date idea thanks to the romantic atmosphere, and if possible, try to grab an early dinner at okoniyaki restaurant Horikawa before hitting up Shokei no Michi.
