Hiroshima Minato Dream Fireworks at Ujina Port July 27th!

Hiroshima Port’s traditional summer fireworks continue this year with the usual spectacle, with as many as 6,500 bursts slated to grace the night sky. The opening ceremony will take place at on the stage of the grassy square in Ujina Hatoba Park at 7:20 pm, and at 8:00 pm on the dot, the explosions will commence and last for 40 minutes. Hop on a streetcar bound for Hiroshima Port and get off where everyone else is disembarking; the festival site is only a short walk away from the streetcar stop. Bring your appetite, buy yourself a snack from a stall, and enjoy the show standing or seated, munching on festival fare as colorful as the fireworks in the sky!
