Autumnal Fruit Picking in Miyoshi Underway with Apples and More!!

Hirata Tourist Farm in Miyoshi may be open year-round, but this time of year is apple-picking season and the tail end of the seasonal phenomenon known as “Chodogari (ちょうど狩り).” What is Chodogari, you ask? The following link (https://marumero.com/cyodogari1) may explain it better than we can, but in a nutshell, it’s a ticket-based pick-any-fruit-you-want system that lets visitors pick a wide variety of fruits to eat on site or take home. As opposed to the traditional all-you-can-eat experiences found on many other farms in Japan, Chodogari doesn’t limit you to one type of fruit, nor does it require you to eat everything on site. With Chodogari, you can take your sweet time picking and eating, plus save some fruits to enjoy at a later date or gift to others. This awesome deal goes ends in early November, so mosey on up to Miyoshi before it’s too late!
