Yakiniku Jango – Top Kuroge Wagyu in Hiroshima

Play

Yakiniku Jango is a popular and affordable spot to enjoy “Kuroge Wagyu Beef”—a culinary delicacy in Japan.

The fame of the intricately marbled Japanese beef known as wagyu has traveled far. But not everyone is as familiar with kuroge wagyu. This variety of wagyu comes from the native cow breed called Japanese Black. One of the four official wagyu breeds, kuroge boasts the most marbling and popularity. Jango’s kuroge wagyu is thick, juicy and exploding with flavor from the meat’s unique fat content. It’s so rich that you need a bowl of rice to balance the flavor.  Jango’s clean, calm interior along with the attentive and polite staff helps customers relax and enjoy their meal. I’m a huge fan of yakinuku, Japanese barbecue. And Jango is a shop I definitely plan to return to.

It’s amazing how much white rice enhances the meat.
