Shokujidokoro Musashi (食事処むさし)
Musashi and Sasaki-ya Kojiro Shoten are two soft-serve ice cream stores located right next to Kintai Bridge. The names are derived from the samurai warriors Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro, who fought a duel on Ganryu Island, a remote island off the coast of Shimonoseki in western Yamaguchi Prefecture, in the 17th century. The two shops offer more than 50 kinds of soft-serve ice cream!
Moment of Joy
The attraction of Musashi and Sasaki-ya Kojiro Shoten is the more than 50 varieties of soft-serve ice cream available at the two stores. In addition to the standard vanilla and chocolate flavors, you can also enjoy the familiar Japanese flavors of matcha green tea and bean paste, as well as more unusual flavors such as ramen noodles and supon mamushi. Some fried food items such as croquettes and potato fries are also available.
