Tempura Sugihara (天ぷらすぎ原)

Located just a short walk from Kannonmachi Station on the Hiroshima Streetcar #2 Line, Tempura Sugihara is a tempura specialty restaurant where you can enjoy exquisite tempura made with locally sourced seasonal ingredients and the skilled techniques of its chefs. They offer a three-course lunch and a four-course dinner,  which allow diners to savor delicacies such as tempura, sashimi, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), and more. They also offer a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, from sake to shochu, wine, and whiskey. Do note that RESERAVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.

The appeal of Tempura Sugihara is the crispy tempura, whose batter seemingly envelops its contents due to the chef’s meticulous attention to detail, from the quality of the frying oil right down to the temperature of the oil when tempura are made. Children’s courses are also available, so even those with children can enjoy tempura with peace of mind.
