Sushi Naka (鮨なか)

Located a two-minute walk away from Fukuromachi Station on the Hiroshima Streetcar, Sushi Naka is a popular sushi restaurant where you can enjoy seasonal local fish and the art of sushi making. Both lunch and dinner only offer course meals, with a choice of “Special Selection Nigiri” or “Omakase Nigiri” courses for lunch, and two tiers of “Omakase Nigiri” courses at different prices for dinner. The restaurant has counter seats where you can watch the chef make sushi up close, as well as tatami seating where you can sit on the tatami floor (be sure to remove your footwear first).

At Sushi Naka, you can enjoy exquisite nigiri sushi featuring seasonal seafood. Based on three elements of color, shape, and cutting, the restaurant is characterized by the fact that it uses no artificial seasonings, allowing you to enjoy the natural flavor of the ingredients. Fish dishes such as boiled and grilled fish are also popular, and can be enjoyed as part of a course menu.
